Antique Hmong firearm of 4 dos txhais—measuring only the barrel. Circa 1900. Wooden stock is beautifully patinad and even has remenant of cov tshav txi rau dab phom noj, which indicates this flintlock has taken game in the past. Tsuam pob is made of plaub cuam (gibbon)—RARE! Thi phom are brass alloy—two are new and three are original to the antique. Will include daim plaub hauv phij/kiam, newly made from black bear.

 

Light and nimble phom, in absolutely amazing condition, considering its age. This flintlock still works and has been testfired. Recommended load of 40grains of blackpowder only.
