All wood surfaces finished with three layers of linseed oil, with three days of drying between each layer. Lub Taub (stock) measures 32 inches long and 0.875 inches thick. The nta hneev (bow) measures 36 inches long, 0.75 inches thickness in the center and distally tapers out to 0.5 inches in thickness—likewise, measuring 2.5 inches wide in the center and tapering out to 1.75 inches wide at the tips. No wedges needed to seat the bow into the stock as seen in more hastily made crossbows—the fit is tight and secure without! Trigger is custom handforged out of steel.

At 120 pounds, this is a crossbow is best cocked/loaded using a combination of legs and arms. With the included bamboo non-tipped arrows, it can kill game up to the size of a racoon if you place an ethical shot. With heavier arrows, tipped with broadheads, this bow has the potential to be much more lethal—up to the size of deer.
