Phom 6 Dos Txhais (8 dos total) | 33 Caliber

Antique Hmong firearm of 6 dos txhais—measuring only the barrel. Circa 1900, with 5 brass alloy thi—two original and three newely forged. Includes original tsuam pob, made from Asian Zaj Npuas (badger). Beautiful gun in immaculate condition: wooden stock is beautifully patinad by many years of storage in Hmoob lub lawj, meaning the wood has been essentially preserved through smoking. Stock has very edivent remenant of cov tshav txi rau dab phom noj, which indicates this flintlock has taken a lot of game in the past.

 

Barrel is in great condition and antique is in overall amazing condition, considering its age. This flintlock still works very well and has been testfired, as seen in this video. Recommended load of 60 grains of blackpowder only.
